Please read these terms carefully before using our website or engaging our pest control services.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the BugBanish website (bugbanish.site) and all related services. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using BugBanish's website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy.

2. Services Description

BugBanish provides professional pest control services including termite control, mosquito control, bed bug treatment, rodent control, cockroach control, and general pest management across the Washington DC metropolitan area and surrounding regions.

3. Service Appointments and Scheduling

  • Service appointments must be scheduled in advance by contacting BugBanish via phone, email, or website contact form.
  • Customers must provide reasonable access to the property at the agreed appointment time.
  • Appointment cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours' advance notice. Failure to cancel with adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee.
  • BugBanish reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control.
  • A responsible adult (18 years or older) must be present during all service appointments.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon in a service contract.
  • Monthly plan payments are billed in advance on a quarterly or monthly basis as specified.
  • We accept cash, check, and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover).
  • Returned checks are subject to a $35 returned check fee.
  • All prices are listed in US Dollars and are subject to applicable state and local taxes.

5. Satisfaction Guarantee

BugBanish offers a satisfaction guarantee on recurring service plans. If covered pests return between scheduled treatments, we will return and re-treat the affected area at no additional charge, subject to the following:

  • The customer must notify BugBanish of the issue within a reasonable time period
  • The customer's account must be current with all payments
  • The guarantee does not cover new pest infestations or species not included in the original treatment plan

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about the pest problem and property conditions
  • Follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment preparation and safety instructions
  • Keep pets and children away from treated areas for the period specified by the technician
  • Notify BugBanish of any known health conditions, allergies, or sensitivities to pesticides prior to treatment
  • Not tamper with or disturb bait stations, traps, or other pest control devices placed by BugBanish

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BugBanish shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services or website use. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the preceding twelve months.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of BugBanish or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate a recurring service plan with 30 days' written notice. BugBanish reserves the right to terminate services immediately if a customer violates these Terms, engages in abusive behaviour toward our staff, or fails to maintain a current payment account.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any unresolved disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Washington, DC.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
